The card dimensions define the central pocket. Side flaps overlap for gluing, the bottom flap seals the pocket, and the top flap remains available for closing with adhesive, a sticker or a decorative seal.

  • Handmade greeting cards
  • Gift cards and vouchers
  • Photo and print packaging

Allow for layered contents

If the envelope will hold several cards, thick paper or embellishments, measure the complete stack. Add a few millimeters of clearance rather than relying only on the flat card size.

Envelope questions

Should I enter card size or envelope size?

Enter the card or insert size. ExactFold builds the envelope pocket around those dimensions.

What does flap depth change?

It changes the reach of the closing flap. A deeper flap provides more overlap for sealing or decorative shapes.
